My Services.
With a First Class BA (Hons) in Creative Writing from the University of Chichester and advanced training from The Publishing Training Centre, I bring both creative insight and editorial precision to every project. Since 2021, I’ve worked as Alee Anderson’s Lead Editor, evaluating manuscripts, liaising with publishers, and managing editorial projects for books released by major publishing houses.
In addition to my full-time work, I offer the following services on a freelance basis:
Developmental Editing
Tracked changes, in-text comments, and a five page report.
Available for works up to 85k words. Ideal for new writers in need of heavy support to make their book suitable for publication. I specialise in: literary fiction, historical fiction, and creative non-fiction.
Proofreading
Catching final errors before the book goes to press.
Ideal as a final stage following a copyedit. I can proofread Word/Google documents, PDFs using Adobe Acrobat, or on paper using BSI symbols (for an additional printing fee).

Book proposals + Query letters
A book proposal and query letter with two rounds of revisions.
I specialise in writing book proposals and query letters for works of creative non-fiction.
Note: Edits can be completed in British English (UoOP) or American English (CMoS).
Beta Reading
Two page report and some in-text comments.
Ideal for new writers looking for first feedback on their book.
